PERSONAL GROWTH
The people I work with already know a great deal about themselves. They have built careers, businesses, teams and lives that require them to be capable, and they are usually very good at figuring things out. The questions they bring to me tend to come up when figuring things out is no longer enough.
Sometimes they know exactly what they need to do and cannot understand why they are still not doing it. They may know they need to make a decision, delegate more, have a difficult conversation, change direction, stop second-guessing themselves or finally take an opportunity they have been talking themselves out of. In those situations, the question becomes why they keep doing something they already know is getting in their own way.
At other times, the question is much more about direction. They may know they want something different and still have no clear idea what that different thing is. For an entrepreneur, that can mean having several possible directions for the business and no real clarity on which one is worth pursuing. For someone looking at their life more broadly, it can mean questioning whether the goals they have been working towards are still the ones they actually want.
This is the kind of work I do.

When you know what to do and still do not do it
Most entrepreneurs and leaders already have access to more strategies, frameworks and advice than they could possibly implement. The question is often why they still avoid doing the thing they already know they should do.
This can show up in very ordinary ways. Someone may know they should delegate and still keep taking work back. They may know a conversation needs to happen and continue postponing it. They may know which opportunity they want to pursue and keep finding reasons to wait. They may have identified the same pattern several times and still find themselves repeating it.
This is where we start looking at what makes the behaviour make sense in the first place. Sometimes that has to do with control, sometimes with the need to get things right, sometimes with how much uncertainty a person can tolerate, and sometimes with an identity they have been operating from for years without really questioning it. The point is to understand what is actually driving the behaviour so that we are working with the real problem.
When you do not know what you want next
Clarity is another big part of my work, because capable people can still reach points where they genuinely do not know what they want.
You may have spent years working towards goals that made complete sense at the time and eventually reach a point where they stop giving you a useful direction. You may know you want something different, but you cannot yet tell whether that means changing careers, changing the way you work, changing the business you are building or changing something much more fundamental about how you want to live.
This is where I spend a lot of time helping people separate what they genuinely want from what simply looks like the obvious next step. More revenue, a bigger team, another market, more visibility or a more impressive title can all make sense from the outside. The useful question is whether that is actually the direction you want to keep moving in.

Why this matters in business
When we look at the problems entrepreneurs and leaders face during phases of growth, they rarely come down to not having the right strategy, blueprint or plan.
Your relationship with uncertainty, control, responsibility, visibility and decision-making eventually shows up in the business. It affects what you pursue, what you avoid, what you keep doing yourself and how much room other people are allowed to take.
This is why I say that your business can only grow as far as you do.
